The Nextcloud integration with CiviCRM and Drupal enables user organisations and their users to link Nextcloud folders to contacts, cases and events in CiviCRM and Drupal portal pages. So, users can either acccess, add or edit documents documents that are stored in Nextcloud and use CiviCRM or their Drupal portal pages to find the files on contacts, cases or events. Permissions for this are essentially defined in CiviCRM. Organisations can thus also cooperate with constituents and give them permissioned access. The user perspective of this integration is mostly dealt with in the portal session elsewhere during the conference.
This session will primarily deal with the technical setup.
